Delete Your Account

JADI — Journey to Authentic and Deep Indonesian

You can delete your JADI account and all associated data at any time. Follow the steps below.

How to Delete Your Account

1. Open the JADI app on your device
2. Tap the Settings icon (gear icon in the top right)
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:

• Account information — email address, name, display name, and password
• Learning progress — lesson completion, quiz scores, spelling attempts, flashcard reviews, spaced repetition data, streaks, and placement test results
• Audio recordings — all pronunciation practice recordings and scores
• Subscription data — your subscription status link (payment records are managed by Apple or Google and subject to their retention policies)
• Language preferences — native language, target languages, and formality settings

What Is Retained

• Anonymized analytics — aggregated, non-identifiable usage data may be retained for app improvement purposes
• Payment history — managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), not by JADI. Contact Apple or Google to manage payment records.

Cancel Your Subscription First

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. To avoid being charged, cancel your subscription before deleting your account:

• iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > JADI > Cancel
• Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions > JADI > Cancel
